Power Trip Monitoring System (PoTriM)

Power Trip Monitoring System (PoTriM) has an IoT (Internet of Thing) based device that monitors the failure of home equipment or appliances. This device measures the current and voltage, then sends the data to the Cloud Server in real time continuously via Wi-Fi Module. Once power failure detected, the device automatically triggers the User via Smart Phone to alert the User for any malfunction equipment. PoTriM data is sent every 3-5 minutes. Data gathered can also be used to predict the electricity usage of the specific equipment. With availability of big data, further prediction analysis can be explored.
